Dr. Kenneth Locklear

Dr. Kenneth Locklear, a North Carolina native, began his journey in medicine upon graduating from University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 1975. He later received his Doctorate from the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1979. Upon receiving his doctorate he completed his Internship at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he also completed his residency in 1982. His experiences working with those of all ages helped him recognize the importance of primary care and preventive medicine for the community as a whole. He chose family medicine because he loved the broad scope of practice and the opportunity to form long-term relationships with his patients. It was this that led to the opening of Robeson Family Practice, which he co-owns alongside Dr. Herman Chavis.

Dr. Herman Chavis

Dr. Herman Chavis, a longtime member of the local community, has been providing healthcare services for over 30 years, specializing in Family Practice. Dr. Chavis graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 1975 and received his Doctorate from the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1979. Upon receiving his Doctorate he completed his Internship at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia in 1980. He then completed his residency at Chesterfield Family Practice Center and the Medical College of Virginia, both also located in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Chavis continued to pursue his passion for family practice when he realized how much he enjoyed the opportunity to care for and develop a relationship with his patients and their families. This led to the opening of Robeson Family Practice in 1982, which he co-owns alongside Dr. Kenneth Locklear.

Jamie Jones- FNP

Ms. Jamie Jones, a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 1993 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1995. After graduation, Ms. Jones dedicated her time to the children of Robeson County where she worked as a school nurse. She later received a Master of Science in Nursing from Troy University in 2014. Ms. Jones has accumulated over 20 years of nursing experience and education in various areas of patient care. She believes in building a long lasting and trusting relationship with patients and their families. She seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking time to listen and understand their particular needs.

Barbara Graham-PA

Mrs. Barbara Graham is a Physician Assistant specializing in Family Practice and Gynecology. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Pembroke State University in 1974. Following her graduation she became a Social Worker where she fulfilled her passion for assisting and caring for those in need for over 12 years. Wanting to better serve her community, she pursued a career in medicine by attending the Bowman Gray School of Medicine, now known as Wake Forest School of Medicine, where she received her Physician’s Assistant degree in 1991. Mrs. Graham has been practicing with Robeson Family Practice for over 20 years, specializing in well care and women’s health. She believes in helping people understand their specific medical needs whether it is managing disease or reviewing steps for maintaining or improving their health.

William Morrozoff-FNP

William Morrozoff, a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in 1990. After graduation Mr. Morrozoff, better known as Bill spent most of his time working in hospital emergency departments, where he learned to develop quick and efficient clinical skills that centered on his patient’s feelings, symptoms, overall well-being and how to better serve them. Bill later received a Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University in 1998 and continuously seeking his passion and growth as a member of the medical community, received his Doctor of Nursing in 2004 from Breyer State University in Idaho. He has over 15 years of extensive experience in family practice and has experience specializing in cardiology. Bill continues to offer quality healthcare practicing current trends in medicine.
